Taste of the Year 2009

The special culinary properties of the GOURMANDINE have not remained unnoticed. In France this potato variety won the ‘Saveur de l’Année 2009’ award. In the category potatoes, vegetables and fruit the French consumer thinks of the culinary Gourmandine as the tastiest potato. The Gourmandine has a firm texture but nevertheless melts in the mouth. It peels easily and is appreciated for its pleasant, full taste and the beautiful yellow colour of its flesh. Some very good cooking properties are also ascribed to the Gourmandine.
